The Spartan is Brooklyn Bedding's performance mattress, built around a Smart Fabric cover that uses far infrared ray technology to reflect body heat back as energy for better blood flow and muscle recovery. The Medium feel is the version most of our shoppers land on: copper-infused and gel-infused comfort foams over an 8-inch zoned coil core of up to 1,032 individually encased coils, in a 13.5-inch profile. It is a balanced pick for back sleepers, combination sleepers and couples who cannot agree on soft or firm. this is a supportive hybrid with a medium surface, not a plush pillow-top bed.
This listing is the Spartan in its Medium feel. It sits between pressure relief and firm support, so back sleepers get a level surface, combination sleepers can change positions without fighting the foam, and side sleepers get moderate give at the shoulders and hips. The three-zone coil core firms up under the hips and softens under the shoulders, and the encased coils keep partner movement from carrying across the bed. If you want a plusher or flatter surface, the Spartan also comes in Soft and Firm as separate listings.

We wanted to test out Helix mattresses after the reviews I read online, and this store is the only one that keeps them out on the floor on the west side of Houston. Saad did a great job of helping my husband and I narrow our choices down. He was very patient and answered all our questions on the differences and the manufacturing process.
