The Allen Studio Firm is a 10-inch firm hybrid built by Brooklyn Bedding, and it is the bed we point to when a back or stomach sleeper says every mattress feels too soft. A thin quilt layer and a high-density firm support foam sit directly over an 8-inch high-profile encased coil unit with steel edge support, so you sleep on the mattress rather than in it. It is a simple, no-frills build that keeps the hips level and the spine straight. side sleepers who need shoulder give will usually be happier on the Studio Plush.
The Studio Firm comes in one feel, and it is a genuine firm. Stomach sleepers get the flat surface that keeps the lower back from arching, and back sleepers get even support with just enough quilted cushion on top to take the edge off. The pocketed coils respond independently, so a partner rolling over is less noticeable than on a traditional innerspring, and the steel edge keeps the sides from collapsing when you sit or sleep near them.

We wanted to test out Helix mattresses after the reviews I read online, and this store is the only one that keeps them out on the floor on the west side of Houston. Saad did a great job of helping my husband and I narrow our choices down. He was very patient and answered all our questions on the differences and the manufacturing process. We ended up making the purchase since the store gave us additional items/discount.
