On the day, the crew brings the mattress in, takes it to the room you want it in and sets it on your existing base or the new one you bought with it. If you added in-room setup, that includes unwrapping, positioning and taking the packaging away with them, which is the part people underestimate: a king mattress arrives with a surprising amount of plastic.
If you bought an adjustable base, the crew assembles it, plugs it in and checks the remote pairs before they leave. It is worth being in the room for that bit so you can see how the presets work while someone is there to show you.
In-room setup, doorstep delivery, and the bed you are replacing
There are two ways to get the mattress into the house. Doorstep delivery arrives free through our shipping partner anywhere in the lower 48, which is fine if you have a helper and a clear route to the bedroom. In-room setup by our own team is $99, and that is the one to pick if the bedroom is upstairs, if the stairwell turns, or if lifting a queen mattress is not something you want to spend a Saturday doing.
