Five minutes from Plantation Drive to our showroom floor
Pecan Grove is the shortest drive of any community we serve. From the Plantation Drive gateway it is a couple of minutes down FM 359 to our Richmond store, and from the far side of Pecan Lakes or The Terrace it is still well under ten. Our Rosenberg showroom is roughly 15 minutes south and Katy about 20 minutes north, but for almost every household here the Richmond floor is the obvious one, and it is also our largest.
Being that close changes how you should shop, because you are not making a special trip. There is no need to settle everything in one afternoon. Come once to narrow the field, sleep on it, and come back later in the week to confirm the two or three that stayed with you. That is a genuinely better way to buy a mattress than deciding under pressure, and it is only practical when the store is five minutes away.
Bring whoever shares the bed. Wear something you can stretch out in, and lie on each mattress in the position you actually sleep in for several minutes rather than perching on the edge for ten seconds. An established neighborhood usually means an overdue mattress
Pecan Grove Municipal Utility District was created in 1975 and confirmed by election in 1977, and the community grew out from there across Pecan Grove Plantation, The Grove, The Greens, Plantation Place, Pecan Lakes and The Terrace. There are around 4,400 single-family homes inside the district. Plenty of them are on their second or third owner, and the bedrooms tell the same story: a primary suite that was furnished years ago and never revisited, plus guest rooms and children's rooms that inherited whatever was replaced.
