The ThermoBalance Elite is the step-up cooling hybrid in Brooklyn Bedding's ThermoBalance line, built for shoppers who want the same triple cooling stack with deeper pressure relief and firmer support underneath. It keeps the ThermoCool cover, ThermoPhase phase change foam and copper-infused memory foam, then adds a 5-pound HD 5.0 memory foam for close contouring, a dedicated zoned lumbar support layer for the lower back, and an 8-inch Ascension Max core of up to 900 ultra-durable encased coils. At 15.5 inches it is a taller, more substantial bed than the standard ThermoBalance. Soft, medium and firm are all available. the extra memory foam gives it a noticeable hug, so shoppers who want a springy surface may prefer the ThermoBalance LX with latex.
The comfort layer mix changes between feels: soft adds a thicker responsive foam, and firm uses denser memory foams in place of the copper layer.
Choose soft, medium or firm. Soft is the side-sleeper option, with a thick responsive layer over the memory foams so the shoulders and hips settle in. Medium suits combination sleepers and couples who want contouring without feeling stuck. Firm gives back and stomach sleepers a flatter surface with denser foams. Every feel shares the zoned lumbar layer, which is the main reason we recommend the Elite to shoppers with lower back complaints.
