About Helix Mattresses

The models are sorted by how you sleep

Midnight and Sunset are the softer side of the range, with more give through the shoulder and hip, which is why they suit side sleepers who want the bed to let the shoulder drop. Dusk sits in the middle and tends to work for back sleepers and people who change position through the night. Dawn and Twilight are the firmer builds, better for back and stomach sleepers who need the hips held up rather than cradled. Plus is engineered with reinforced support for bigger bodies, and there is a kids' model built for a bed that has to survive a few growth spurts.

Then choose your tier

Each model comes in tiers, and the tier changes the comfort layers rather than the personality of the bed. The standard build gives you the core feel. Luxe adds a quilted pillow top and zoned lumbar support, so the middle of the bed pushes back a little harder where your weight concentrates. Elite is the tallest and most cushioned build in the range. A Midnight Luxe still feels like a Midnight; it just has more between you and the coils. That is why we recommend picking the model first and the tier second.

Where hybrids beat all-foam

A coil unit does three things foam cannot do on its own: it moves air, it holds the perimeter firm so the edge is safe to sit on, and it makes the bed easier to turn over on. That combination is why hybrids dominate our floor. If you want to see how Helix compares against the rest of what we carry, the wider hybrid mattress range and our cooling mattresses for hot sleepers are the two obvious comparisons to run in the same visit.

Kids' rooms and second bedrooms

The Helix kids' models are worth a look if you are furnishing a room for a child who will be in it for years, and they sit alongside the rest of our kids' and youth mattresses so you can compare sizes and price points at the same time.

Try them before you commit

Ten minutes lying down settles the model question quickly, and it is the reason we keep so many of these on the floor. Visit the Katy showroom or the Richmond showroom and ask for a side-by-side of a Midnight and a Dusk. Once you feel the difference between them, the rest of the range makes sense immediately.
